How to use the stopwatch
Select Start to begin, Pause to stop counting, and Resume to continue. Select Lap during a run to record a split without stopping the stopwatch.
A note on timing
The display shows hundredths of a second, not certified measurement accuracy. Keep your device awake. No account is needed and your lap data stays in this page until you download a CSV or leave.
Good to know
What do Split and Total mean?
Split is running time since the previous lap, or since Start for your first lap. Total is all running time since Start. The newest lap appears first. Up to 200 laps can be recorded in one session; at the limit, the stopwatch keeps running but no new laps are added.
Does a pause count toward my time?
No. Pause freezes the accumulated time. Resume continues from that value, and your current split continues too. Time spent paused is excluded from both Split and Total.
How do I download lap times?
After recording at least one lap, select Download CSV. It works while running or paused. The file contains fixed English columns for the lap number, split and total milliseconds, and formatted times. Resetting first would erase those records.
What happens if I reset or leave this page?
Reset asks before clearing elapsed time and all lap records. Cancel keeps the session intact, and an active run continues while the confirmation is open. Refreshing, closing, or using Clock or Timer clears this session without saving it. Only display preferences are saved.
Will it work in the background or during sleep?
The stopwatch recalculates elapsed time when you return to this tab instead of counting missed frames. Device sleep and lock-screen timing vary by browser and operating system, so accurate timing through sleep is not guaranteed. Keep the device awake for a timed session.
How do I exit fullscreen?
Select Exit fullscreen or press Esc. If fullscreen is unavailable, the stopwatch and all of its controls still work in the normal page.
